1. Commitment to Inclusion
Theatre Street Performing Arts Limited is committed to encouraging diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of our training. We believe the performing arts should be accessible to everyone regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or background.
2. Positive & Respectful Environment
Welcoming Culture: We foster an encouraging, positive environment where every student is respected and supported in their personal and artistic growth.
Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: We maintain a strict zero-tolerance stance against bullying, harassment, or unfair treatment by staff, parents, or students.
Adaptability: Where appropriate, teachers adapt exercises, choreography, or staging to support physical or learning requirements so all students can participate safely and fully.
3. Fair Opportunities
Class placements, solos, performance roles, and team selections (such as Elite Teams) are evaluated fairly based on effort, ability, suitability, and attendance.
Teaching contractors and volunteers are recruited based on merit, experience, and suitability for working with young people under UK safer recruitment guidance.
4. Raising Concerns
If a student, parent, or staff member experiences or witnesses unfair treatment or discrimination, they should report it directly to the Principal at office@theatrestreet.com. All reports are reviewed promptly and treated with confidentiality.
