About TSPA

TSPA was established in 2001 as a Saturday morning stage school for children based in a small, chilly village hall in Thamesmead. 20 years later we are still thriving and we currently welcome young people for over 300 visits a week, offering classes in ballet, jazz, tap, street, acro, singing, contemporary and more from our purpose built studios and performance space near Abbey Wood station, which we opened in 2012. We have been proud members of the British Theatre Dance Association for twenty years.

Our students have gone on to work in the professional performing arts industry in film, TV and theatre; they have trained at top dance and drama schools, or they take the confidence we have helped them garner over the years into many different walks of life. We are determined to nurture talent and support budding young professional actors, singers and dancers - but we believe that the confidence performing arts can give all young people is invaluable. Regardless of whether your child is keen to develop a career in showbiz, however you feel they would benefit from the confidence and communication skills that dance and drama can provide, we believe we have something magical to offer your family.

Over the years, we have been fortunate to welcome some amazing tutors into our organisation, all drawn from the industry and experienced in working with both children and adults.

Our elite performance teams go from strength to strength, with now three age groups dedicated to our most committed, talented and determined dancers.

We pride ourselves on a family atmosphere, high standards and great results - each of our students is a valued individual with their own needs, talents, potential and passion. Friendships blossom at TSPA. It is our job to nurture all of that, while we give you parents some much needed time to relax, work, clean the house, or however you wish to use the free time that TSPA can provide you!

So hopefully we offer you something that benefits the whole family, and we’d love to talk to you about your - and your children’s - aspirations about what TSPA can provide. We look forward to meeting you soon and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Let’s talk about your family…
